Since childhood, Diane Lynn's passion has been writing

Diane Lynn grew up in Virginia and loved reading and writing early on, particularly mysteries. As an adult, her growing family and a career in surgical nursing and emergency medicine took precedence. Throughout this time, Diane never lost sight of her dream. She read mysteries and romance novels, took writing courses, attended workshops and conferences.

When her life slowed down, Diane jumped right into writing, infusing it with her life and professional experiences. The result: a remarkable first novel that seamlessly weaves mystery, romance, and medicine into a fast-paced thriller.

Diane is an inspiration to women everywhere. She believes that you are never too old to pursue your dreams: "If you can dream it, you can do it," she says. She is a perfect example that dreams come true, no matter where you are in life. She did not begin writing The Secondary Target until her retirement years, when her family and work responsibilities were behind her. A sequel, Missing, quickly followed.

Diane lives in the Phoenix, Arizona area where she and her husband raised two children.

From Kirkus Reviews:

“… Lynn draws on her experience as an emergency room and surgical nurse for descriptions of Beth’s treatment and recovery, which ring true. She handles the mystery well, with realistically dogged police work and plausible red herrings.”
